Lots has happened since my last post! I've begun taking senior pictures and it was a blast! I have a few family photo shoots in the next month, not to mention more senior pictures, and a wedding over Labor Day weekend! Soon I will be going back to my real job as a teacher, but will continue to squeeze in photo shoots whenever I can. Also, my husband surprised me with a new camera for our 14th anniversary! So excited! It is better than my previous camera and takes shots so much faster!

Thanks to a suggestion from a friend I have began using Smugmug.com to display my pictures, also allowing people to purchase the pictures in nicer quality than the general drugstore or chain store! This will give me another way to get my pictures out there! I am so excited that this hobby of mine seems to be taking off.
Three photo shoots completed over the past three weeks! Off to a good start, and enjoying myself very much! I love being able to capture the love the families feel in photographs! With so much heartache and sadness that people face in their lives, it makes me realize that pictures have more meaning. Being able to capture on film the love between two people, makes them so much more special once their loved ones have passed on. The pictures I have of my grandparents are so special to me and I know that my children will one day appreciate the power of these photos. An important lesson, always carry a camera, you never know when there is a once in a lifetime photograph waiting to be taken!
